School Dinners are provided by a private catering company called Harrison. They are cooked in Coston School kitchen adjacent to the school and delivered to the Infant and Junior Kitchens. A choice of food, including vegetarian, is published in weekly menus. (Our school menu is here.)
Parents/carers must pay for their child's school dinner to Harrison directly (visit www.ealingmeals.com to register your child and pay online). Meals cost £2.35 a day, £11.75 per week. All school meals for pupils in Years 3-6 must be paid for in advance and the account kept in credit. Should your account fall into arrears, our office staff will contact you to advise that alternative arrangements are needed (packed lunch or home lunch).
Ealing’s school meals contract with Harrison Catering Services Ltd finishes at the end of this term. (From September, our meals will be provided by ISS Education.) Harrison Catering Services have contacted parents/carers who have a significant credit on their child’s school meal account (see email of 10th June). The current online meals payment portal will no longer be available to make payments for meals beyond 31st July 2021. If you are paying for your child’s meal online, please do not make any payments beyond 23rd July 2021. The current online payment portal is being replaced with a brand new online payment portal, details of which will be sent to you at a later date.
Families on Income Support may be eligible for Free School Meals and need to make an application to Perceval House, Uxbridge Road, Ealing W2 2HL to receive these. Further information may be sought from the school office, or visit Ealing Council's website.
If preferred children may bring a packed lunch to school or go home for dinner. Children with packed lunches are not allowed to have sweets or chocolate in their lunch, nor bring cans or fizzy drinks to school. We are a Nut-Free school; please do not send any products containing nuts to school. For children who have a nut allergy, the reaction to exposure can be severe and life-threatening.
